Can I change my booking time?
Give us a call on (07) 838 8680 and we will do our best to accommodate you. Alternatively you can make changes up to 24 hours before your booking via your confirmation email.
Can I cancel my booking?
To cancel your booking please call us on (07) 838 8680. You can also cancel via your confirmation email up to 24 hours before your booking time. We do not offer refunds for no-shows or cancellations within 24 hours of your booking time.
Do I need ID?
Tipsy Putt is a supervised licensed premises. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by their parents and anyone who looks under 25 will be asked for valid ID. You need ID on the premises whether or not you're purchasing alcohol. If you're over 18, bring your ID to avoid being denied entry.
How long does a round take?
Depending on the size of your group, a round can take 20–40 minutes.
Can I bring the kids?
Under 18s are welcome before 7pm every day. After 7pm bookings are 18+ only. Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
I've got a large group — how do I book?
Online bookings are limited to 20 people per slot. For groups larger than 20, book 20 in one slot and the rest in the next available slot. To enquire about a function instead, head to Functions.
Do I have to pay for everything in advance?
Standard golf bookings are paid in full at the time of booking — book here. Function packages require a 25% deposit at the time of booking, balance on arrival.
Can I turn up without a booking?
We allow walk-ins but recommend booking in advance — priority goes to those who have booked and pre-paid.
Are there rules of play?
Yes, these are included on the back of every score card.
What happens if someone in my group damages the course?
Our goal is to provide nice things for Hamilton. We accept that accidents happen, but if the course decorations and theming are damaged by reckless or intentional behaviour, we will seek to recover the cost of repairs and replacement from the individuals who caused the damage — or in the case of children, their parents.

Rules
- · Tipsy Putt is a licensed premises. All minors must be accompanied by their parents. Anyone who looks under 25 will be asked for valid ID. We accept valid International & New Zealand passports, current New Zealand driver licence, Hospitality NZ 18+ Card and Kiwi Access Cards.
- · Children are welcome before 7pm every night. After 7pm bookings are for 18+ patrons only.
- · No climbing on the models (this goes for adults too). Happy for photos with the models — just not on them. Anyone who damages the models or theming will be financially liable for repair/replacement. Parents are responsible for damage caused by their children.
- · Drinks are welcome around the course — feel free to use the drink stands at the start of each hole. Food must be consumed at a table or leaner on the bar side, or at the footpath furniture out the front.
- · Patrons who become intoxicated will be removed from the premises with no refunds. This is a legal requirement of our licence.
- · The premises is monitored by CCTV. By entering you acknowledge you are under video surveillance.
- · We reserve the right to deny entry to patrons in gang colours or any other clothing we consider unacceptable, untidy or threatening.
